Triathlon GPS track on other continent

Hi,

I did a triathlon this summer and the track is OK (not perfect as app. 2,5 km are missing when biking). Nevertheless, the running part contains a gps location somewhere in the Atlantic ocean near Africa (the triathlon was in Austria).

When I check the exported GPX file, there are no weird coordinates included which could create that. Any chance to fix that and get a valid gps track? I don't have an idea where the gps position could come from.

That point on the Atlantic happens to be exactly at 0 degrees E and 0 degrees N. Looks like the watch crapped out during the run and stored some zero-coordinates points.
