MyFitnessPal the more I practice the LESS I am allowed to eat

There seems to be a sing error in Garmins Software. The calories I may consume on connect are

standard + activity related calories

The corrected calories then transferred to MyfitnessPal are the amount of the active calories but are SUBTRACTED from the total:

standard - activity related calories

You can see this in these screenshots:(Geman)

Pretty poor work! Any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

  • Even stranger today. This just makes no sense

  • When navigating through both Garmin Connect and MyFitnessPal, it's crucial to delve into the intricacies of your calorie tracking settings and data synchronization to optimize your fitness journey. Taking the time to meticulously configure these settings is of utmost importance, particularly when it comes to the precision of your calorie calculations.

Now, let's not forget the importance of a balanced diet, and perhaps you're even searching for a delectable beef gravy recipe to complement your fitness goals. While we won't delve into the recipe here, keep in mind that the accuracy of your calorie tracking can significantly affect how you manage your nutrition, even when it comes to that delicious homemade beef gravy.

Begin by launching Garmin Connect, your trusted companion in tracking your fitness progress. Within the application, locate the settings section, often denoted by a gear or cogwheel icon, and click on it. Once inside, explore the myriad options that pertain to calorie tracking and data synchronization. This is where the magic happens, as these settings can significantly impact the accuracy of your caloric information.

Delve into each setting, ensuring that they are fine-tuned to match your specific goals and needs. Consider adjusting the parameters related to your activity levels, weight, and personal preferences. Are your dietary restrictions properly configured? Are your fitness goals aligned with what the application knows about you? Double-check and make the necessary adjustments to guarantee that the data being used to calculate your calorie consumption is spot-on.

So, whether you're perfecting your calorie tracking for fitness purposes or just looking to whip up that mouthwatering beef gravy recipe, the meticulous configuration is key to ensuring the best results in both areas.
