There appears to be a defect in Garmin Connect web application. When you go to Activities and select Winter Sports, some of the column headings don't match the actual data in the columns. The Avg Speed column displays Elev Loss, the Avg HR column displays Max Speed, and the Calories column displays Number of Runs.
