Hrm tri

Hi, I’ve recently bought the FENIX 6 Pro and now intend to purchase a chest heart monitor. I’m not interested in swimming so would like to know if the hrm tri offers any extra features for cycling (mainly stationary exercise bike) over the hrm run

No, if you have no plans to swim then the HRM-Tri has no advantages over the HRM-Run. Neither of them offer extra features for cycling though. They do both support running dynamics so you will get that data if you use it to run.

Thanks for that Paul, I didn’t want to order the hrm run then regret not paying more for the tri. Only had the Fenix 6 watch about 6 weeks so still feeling my way round as have picked up a calf strain so not been able to put it to full use. I’ll order the run version now
