Garmin Golf Performance Stats

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help explain the Golf Performance Stats. Not sure when it says my driving for example is 'Above Average', does that mean that it's better than those of a similar handicap or worse (as in above average number of shots?)

Similarly, when looking at the 'rankings' of driving, chipping etc, if you're ranked 75%, does that mean you're in the top quarter (as in 100% is best), or that you're ranked 75th percent and that are in the bottom quarter?

Can't seem to hover over your name Garmin-Rob, but I would also like to know the ranking system in the Golf app. I find it really hard to understand.

I was hoping with the redesign of the Garmin Golf app coinciding with the Approach R10 launch monitor that’s just come out, there may have been some improvement. But apart from a fancy home/front page, and subtle graphics changes nothing has changed. It’s so overdue. Maybe it’s because all the golf focus at Garmin has been on bringing the R10 to market. Well, now it’s out, I really hope some love and attention is given to the app. All we are asking for is an explanation of Drive, Approach, Chip, Putt & Drive Distance in the Ranking section. Honestly, forget the app and just explain it here!!

Like everybody else here... am looking for details that explain the golf performance statistics. Between a new Approach S62 and full set of CT10 sensors I've invested over $800 but the statistics provide little (if any) value. It would be helpful for Garmin to post some details explaining what they mean.
