Unable to create course using popularity routing

Am I the only one seeing this? Attempting to create a new course. "Oops, we have limited popularity data for this area of the map. Use another drawing method to add new points".

This is despite the map showing the purple lines for popular routes. And I'm in a busy place (Sydney, AU). There's plenty of data...

I get the same - when the course is in Sydney. If I create one back home (Sweden) it works without a problem.

Thanks! It appears all Australian popularity routing is broken :-(

I'm getting the same problem in the UK trying to create a cycling route using a road that I've driven down 100's if not 1000's of times. I can only assume that the route creation algorithm thinks that the road isn't actually a road. It is a road.

Me too. I can use it in UK and France no trouble but it has *never* worked in Russia for the last two years.

Any idea why not Garmin-Matthew ?

The original issue, as posted by peteb478 appears to be resolved. Issues regarding specific cities that never worked, would be a request.

Per Garmin Support, "Currently this feature is only available for select major cities in the United States." Although this apparently has expanded beyond the United States, there are some cities that currently still do not have this available.
