Swim Activity Showing Map from Previous Run Activity

Yes. There's something got broken in Garmin Connect recently. Some swimming activities show quite fine, but others show exactly the same symptoms as yours.

This has been escalated and does not have a current timeline for resolution. 

please let me know when fixed

I wonder if this leaked over from the development of the new Garmin Swim.

hello garmin - connect has been a great platform but now it is glitchy for swims - shows maps for my pool swims and the map location has no relevance to my indoor swim location - so that is annoying - i use a vivoactive 3 to track my activities. also when looking at details for swims now the arrows for navigating to previous and next activities do not work in connect anymore for me from a swim details screen. please enter these as bugs - or if they are known defects please let us all know when they will be fixed. ok?

Connect details... Show bogus location on map for a pool swim - should not be GPS associated.
