Watch face impact battery life?

Does anyone know if a larger sized watch face will impact the battery life on my device vs a smaller sized watch face? The battery life doesn't seem to last as long on my new Vivoactive 4s compared to other devices (with comparable battery size) I've had. I used to only have to charge my other devices every 7+ days, but I'm finding that I have to charge the Vivoactive 4s about every other day. The heart rate monitor is stuck on (which I'm working with Garmin on getting fixed) so I know that doesn't help, but I'm wondering if the watch face impacts battery life as well? Then maybe I will have to use a smaller watch face to help save battery life. Thanks!

  • It could if you use an IQ watch face that displays seconds a lot. I imagine an updating the current heart rate could also affect battery life however I use the No Frills watch face with Heart Rate showing and my battery life is very good.
