Activity name: Workout Name automatically adds location.

Under User Settings, there's an option to change the Activity Name that gets uploaded to Connect. There's 'Location + Type', obvious enough, Location & Device Activity Name', also obvious enough, Untitled, yep, as it says on the tin. What I want is 'Activity Name' and Activity Name only, but Connect insists on adding Location as well. 99.9% of my rides and runs are, you know....in my city. I know where I live. 

Why doesn't 'Activity Name' simply show...activity name, why does it insist on adding the location, and is there any way to turn this stupid 'feature' off?

    You're right, there should be an option to customize activities' names.

    Normally a real location would be good. True, usually everybody run in their city, but sometimes - somewhere else, so based on location it could be easily filtered.

    But location could be separated from name, this way location could be hidden if not needed, but still used later for finding activities.

    The best solution would be, to have a list of major cities, visited during activity.

    Now automatic location is bad. It only adds a city name - where you started an activity.

    So, longer activities, where you pass few cities are still named by your city as start was there.

    So you need to rename it anyway.

    So, yes, auto naming for location - in current form is quite useless.
