Corrupt .FIT file - garmin.kiesewetter.nl not responding

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can assist. I'm trying to fix a swimming .FIT file that crashed during save on my Vivoactive 3. Garmin connect shows some of the laps, but the timing is all over the place and it's missing the entire last split of over 15 minutes. Tried to fix with garmin.kiesewetter.nl but I keep getting a "waiting for garmin.kiesewetter.nl" message upon submitting the file that never goes away, and when I try to upload again, I get an error that says the file is being used by another process. Couldn't find a way to fix them on a Mac as it appears a .FIT repair tool is only available on Windows. Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. I have 2 .FIT files (golf scorecards) that have failed to transfer data from Garmin Connect to the Garmin Golf App.

Having spoken with Garmin support they suggested trying to find a fix online. I've tried the online tool that everyone seems to use but can't get the files to upload, just the following error message:

"Upload status: The file could not be uploaded. The following error occured: The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\localuser\garmin.kiesewetter.nl\loadup\C3M84516.FIT' because it is being used by another process".

Is anyone able to help?
