Manually setting the PR doesn't set the fastest time for the record, it sets it to the total time of the run

So I just ran a coaching workout, and on that workout I achieved a new 10K running PR. But for some reason the garmin web app didn't update my PR's. I've got my runs to automatically upload to Strava, and there the PR is updated. Then I tried to manually set the run as a new PR in the garmin web app, but this set the new time to the total time of that run, not the fastest time for the 10k. (The run was 10.8~ km with a time of 1:04:13, the 10k PR should be 0:57:02, but it's set to 1:04:13)

But now when I try to set the record back to the previous PR run it also just updates to the total time of the run.

So in short, I think there is something wrong with the manual PR updating system.

Same here......ran a new 5k pb on Saturday Fenix 5s+ shows pb for the time for the actual race distance of 5.03k(?) not 5k.  Additionally Connect has not updated the pb, it still shows previous pb from 2017.  Garmin these are both fundamental errors that you need to fix asap.

This smacks of releasing software updates complete with bugs.  We are NOT your beta testers so sort it out!

When I got a new record - I had to accept it here: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/personal-records

After accepting - it will be updated on the profile page.

  • Same here. It has worked for all other PBs, such as 1k during 10k runs etc, but today I ran 21.25k and did a PB on the half, but the time I got was the total time for the run (so some 30s off or so)
