Sleep data changes the day after the next - Connect Web - REM sleep appears - totals change

The first Sleep diagram is directly after first Sync from the Watch, the second picture is the data of the same night with the same data but a day later, all of a sudden there is REM sleep and a completely different start and end time and totals.
Maybe I do something wrong, or have other users experienced the same?

I have the same problem. Often I have 30ish mind of deep sleep directly after sync. But later when I check my sleep data  for the same night it is often much less like 4 mins or even —.

  • same problem, and no idea why it is doing this.  :-(

  • found this on the sleep support page:

Sleep windows may recalculate throughout the day to verify and distinguish between waking up early and going back to sleep vs being up for the entire day. You may notice slight variances in your complete sleep window as these calculations update. Even with these recalculations, sleep monitoring can still stop if the device detects movement that indicates you've entered an "awake" state for an extended period of time during the night.

I have noticed this as well.  For example I woke up in the morning and checked 3.5 hours deep.  Went back to bed and voila 5 minutes when I woke up again

I have noticed the same problem. Deep sleep will go from 4 hours to 18 minutes.

  • Seeing the same problem. - Right after the sync the sleep stats are "believable", just to change significantly some time later (30-120 min). E.g. from 50 min deep sleep to 4 minutes or none at all.

Frustrating, I hope Garmin can fix this.

The same thing happens to me, deep sleep can show 45 min after I wake up, even after an hour or 2 later, it stills shows 45 min, and then like later in the afternoon, it recalculates the whole thing, and shows only 4 min of deep sleep.
