Why doesn't Garmin Connect show calories up top anymore?

This morning, suddenly, I found that the way Garmin Connect displays my cycling changed.

It used to display distance, time, average speed, elevation gain, and calories.

Now, suddenly, instead of calories, it shows "average power" in watts:

As this is a useless stat for me, as I don't have any way to measure it, how do I change it back?

(The calories are still listed if I scroll way down the page, but it was much more readable to have them at the top with everything else.)

(I know the calories are just an estimate from heart rate, but I still find them very helpful.)

Can I really be the only one who's noticed this?

  • seems you added the data field "power" or something similar on your garmin device to the activity cycling, but you haven't a powermeter, or?

  • This changed, but don't see an option to customize it.

Only at all activities list, after choosing activity's category (like cycling), you can choose which parameters to show on the list - using this small icon on the right:

    activities settings icon

But this won't change parameters visible on opened single activity page.

Nope, I didn't make any changes.  It just changed on the Connect web site.  And only on the page for viewing a single ride (the page with the map on it).  On the multiple-activities page it's customizable.

Yeah, at a support rep's suggestion, I tried changing the fields on the activities page, but that made no difference in the fields on top when I opened a single activity.
