Can I import Garmin data from one GC account to GC another? I tried export/import via CSV but i keep getting a "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" message

Can I import Garmin data from one GC account to GC another? I tried export/import via CSV but i keep getting a "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" message. This is a file that Garmin Connect created from the GC account i wish to deprecate. I adjusted the date format to match. Help :)

    It's better to export FIT files from the first account using "Export (Original)" in Garmin Connect Web.

    If you need to bulk export FIT files, this python script will help: https://github.com/pe-st/garmin-connect-export

    Unfortunately I don't know of an existing tool to do bulk imports....

    The import page allows you to import multiple files at once by either dragging and dropping or browsing a folder containing the files by clicking on "Browse".   It is not clear whether there is a limit to the number of files that can be selected here.

    Yeah, I was sorta alluding to the fact that I doubt that page will accept, say, several years' worth of FIT files in one upload. That page doesn't even accept zipped FIT files....

    To put it another way, most websites can't accept an upload of hundreds or thousands of files at once. And knowing Garmin, I doubt they put it in the extra effort to try to support this use case.

    I guess it couldn't hurt to try tho.

    What I actually had in mind was a script that would programatically upload hundreds or thousands of FIT files that are stored on your computer. Wouldn't be too hard to write, but I don't know of one that exists.

    Or better yet, a tapiriik-style service that would sync between two GC accounts, as opposed to two different sports services. Maybe someone should ask tapiriik to add that feature. The reason nobody supports this is because I'm sure the demand is very low.

    The best is to request a data export via this link: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/account/datamanagement/exportdata/ 

    There will you get all original files and data your account has.
