How do I see today’s data in mobile app or web?

I have just purchased a Forerunner 645 and connected it to my phone and the web app. When I hit the sync option on watch it appears to sync successfully, but no data shows up on mobile phone connect app nor on web. Watch shows today’s steps, hr etc. Nothing in apps.

    What happens if you initiate the sync from the app? Give that a try and see if it works then. If not try powering the watch off and then back on. Sometimes that can help by resetting the bluetooth connection.

  • Initiating sync from also appears to be fine but unfortunately also doesn’t lead to data showing up in the app. All the screens just show no data.

    i unpaired Bluetooth and also deleted and reinstalled app, but no change in behaviour.

  • Spoke to Garmin Support Chat session and got a solution

    1. Open Garmin Connect App
    2. Open the Menu:
      • Android: Select (top left)
      • iOS: Select More (bottom left)
    3. Select Settings
    4. Select Profile & Privacy
    5. Select Data
    6. Select Device Upload

    If this is not enabled, please enable it. If it is enabled, please disable this > close the app > reopen the app and re-enable

    Mine was not enabled, I enabled it, ran a sync and all working.
