Is all my historic Garmin Connect data (approximately 1 year of running data) lost forever? (Had to reinstall with the last faulty update)

I had to delete the Android Garmin Connect App and re-install it to get past the error messages the faulty update of a few days ago caused.

Now Garmin Connect only has a record of the activities/runs since that time … just a few runs … and I can't find any trace of the previous runs it had - approximately one year of data is missing.

Luckily the data is intact in Garmin Express, and in Stryd Power Center.

Can someone give me  a hint please on how to "import" (?) the historic data back into Garmin Connect?

  • All your data should be linked with your garmin connect account and stored in the cloud. Nothing you do with your phone should ever affect this. Did you, perhaps, accidentally set up a new account somehow?
