Error when importing data from FitBit

I have followed the instructions on https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data to import data from my FitBit to Garmin as I want to migrate over, however the upload feature is broken and I am shown the following error message:

An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.

Doing a search of the forums, this seems like a recurring issue. Please advise a fix. The importing of FitBit data was a bit reason I bought the Garmin to begin with.

    I have exactly the same issue - cannot work a way round it and would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions

    I didn't know this feature existed until I read this post, so I tried it, and it worked for me. I went to my Fitbit account, exported to CSV, and dragged-n-dropped it per the link you provided. Though the sleep data was not imported for some reason.

    This is not working for me either. I’ve tried everything. Very diss pointing.

    You can only import Activity data, and body data (weight, fat, muscle mass). No sleep data.

    Thank you, yes. In the end I had to import each activity file that I wanted individually. Took ages!! Unfortunately it made no impact on VO2, or resting heart rate. It just means collating new data going forward :)

    It could not. If you wanted it only for that, and asked, you could have saved you the work Slight smile VO₂max is calculated only on the device (not by the app, or by the server), so no imported data can influence it. And Resting HR is not aken from Activity files, but from daily monitoring data. Diuring activities you are supposed to be active, hence taking the Resting HR from activity files would not make any sense.

    I had the same problem.
    I fixed it choosing the right data on the Fitbit webpage (your starting date has to be the day if your first activity with Fitbit).

    Unfortunately, importing data can't be done at the moment.  Fitbit doesn't share with you lifetime data on CSV extension, so you won't be able to import to Garmin.  It is very disappointing.
