I could do it!...
The solution is to pause the training (go to Garmin Coach - then the three dots on the top right, choose "Pause"). Then resume it immediately and the missed training was there!... Hope…
I believe, you do not need to reschedule missed workouts of a coach plan. Simply pause or reschedule the future workouts, and start the missed workout directly on the watch:
Didn't work for me. Once it is marked skipped on the plan and your watch is synced, I can't move it on the calendar and I can't select it from the workplace. Also the work out plan progresses…
I know this post is quite old but I have had this problem too and think I’ve found the solution.
Today, I was able to do a missed workout and it sync’d to my plan without the need to pause or restart the plan as people have suggested before.
This is what I did… hopefully it’ll work for the next person who searches for this problem.
• went on to my watch and tapped run (as usual)
• at the bottom ; tap on workouts
• scroll down to training calendar
• choose the workout you missed
When I finished my run and set my watch to sync - it uploaded the correct run on the plan. Happy days :)
Well, while this workaround might work for skipped workouts, it generates a risk of removing one of the future workouts which happened in my case today. I had planned workouts for Tuesday (Hill Repeats), Thursday (Goal Pace Repeats) and Saturday (Long Run). I wanted to do Hill Repeats on Wednesday morning so I paused and resumed the plan immediately. Effect: the Saturday’s Long Run is completely gone from my entire workout plan. So beware of this. Still waiting for the official fix from Garmin.
Happened to me too! I agree, it's very poor workaround.
If you look at my reply to this problem, I was able to do it without pausing my plan. I did it all from my watch and it didn’t mess up the rest of my runs once it did sync up.
im not sure how to add my reply again or tag you in it.
hopefully it works and doesn’t mess it up for you again.
Hi lorz
Thanks for your input. Yes, I know about this workaround, I managed to do it once. There is another problem with it though - you mustn't sync with Garmin Connect app before you complete the missed workout. Otherwise, the workout is removed from a watch as well. And this is tricky if you allow Garmin Connect to work in background and sync automatically.
Best Regards
Nice! It worked for me!
I skipped a workout yesterday and couldn't reschedule it. So I modified the workout days as you suggested and now the workout is scheduled for today! Thanks
Omg. This worked for me! Thank you
Yay - glad it worked :)
This works I just did it today. Thank you
