The solution is to pause the training (go to Garmin Coach - then the three dots on the top right, choose "Pause"). Then resume it immediately and the missed training was there!... Hope…
I believe, you do not need to reschedule missed workouts of a coach plan. Simply pause or reschedule the future workouts, and start the missed workout directly on the watch:
Didn't work for me. Once it is marked skipped on the plan and your watch is synced, I can't move it on the calendar and I can't select it from the workplace. Also the work out plan progresses…
Yes, that worked! Pause/resume training plan automatically took my missed long run from yesterday and scheduled it for tomorrow. I could then reschedule it for today. Brilliant. It also changed the week from a 4 to a 3 session week though. Need to test if I can manually add an easy run now.

Did not work for me , but I already compled the next workout in the meantime, maybe that's why it does not work this way.

Thank you this just worked great. After pausing then resuming, yesterday's missed event showed up on the schedule for tomorrow, and I was then able to move it to today and off I went. It's a strange, glitchy workaround of this - hopefully Garmin can fix a more logical option soon.
This doesn't work. I paused my plan on the day of the workout, but when I restarted it my workouts have all been rescheduled. It seems there is no way to do a workout if I don't do it on the day Garmin wants me to!
I did this and was able to get the missed workout. However, the other workouts for the week realigned to something new.

Thank you- this worked. I forgot to reschedule yesterday- so disappointed today- you can see yesterdays workout but just not do it and I didn't want to miss the faster workout!!
Now I just have to go and do the harder run!

You can solve this from the "Calendar View" in the Garmin Connect app.
Select the (past or future) day with the workout – click on the workout to open it – reschedule it from the menu.
