Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

    Repair a fit file

    Hi,

    I've just finished a 160km cycle and I am having problems loading the fit file. Can someone help me repair it please?

    FIT File Corruption - FIx Needed

    Hi all,

    I wonder whether anyone can help. I completed a ride yesterday and my course was not saved properly. I now have a corrupt FIT file. I've tried various online FIT file repair tools, but each one restricts the repaired information it gives me (one only gives me HR/speed/segments for half the ride, one doesn't give me the map view of my ride).

    I was wondering whether anyone knows of a, or can themselves, fix the file so that I can get all the data that I would life from it. I've attached it here.

    Dear All,

    This is my first post on this forum and first of all, would like to thank all the contributors helping users like me having issues with their fit file.

    I'm quite desperate here because I did my first IronMan in Zürich (Switzerland) on the 24th of July. My Garmin watch is the forerunner 910xt and I'm using it for almost three years. I did hundreds of session with this watch without having any issue :-)

    Hello Laurent,

    Sadly your 910 stopped recording data at 142kms into the Bike Session. There is no more data. I fixed what was in the file with the Fit File Repair Tool.

    arrgghh...

    Hi Don, I tried to download the fit file repair tool, but I don't know if I am having firewall issues but I couldn't get it to work...
    I tried creating a segment from an activity but it said there was some problem with the GPS data... could you have a look at the fit file for me...?

    Weird FIT file corruption...

    Hi - first post here and I'm hoping one of the FIT file gurus can help.

    I've a corrupt file that shows some data (HR, cadence & elevation) but no location or speed info. The GPS was clearly working (I also had speed info during the ride and elevation exists).

    I've tried various online tools with no luck - I'm a Mac user so the MS Access app wasn't a starter for me. Trying to review this activity/ride also causes the garmin Connect activity page to hang (after displaying HR, cadence and elevation graphs).

    If anybody is able to help, I can heap eternal praise upon you for being a legend!

    I used fitfilerepairtool to fix it. There was a data corruption somewhere in the file.


    Thanks for this i was facing the same problem now with the help of this tool i also find the corrupted data in file. :D

    Forerunner 25 Invalid File

    Went for a run with my Forerunner 25 this morning and it seemed to record the run fine but then when I went to sync with my mac it said the file was invalid. Was going to upload the file here to see if anyone could help but the forum won't upload the file! If anyone could give me some advice on how to fix any of this I would greatly appreciate it.

    Please help and repair fit files

    Sadly my Edge 810 crashed half way through my ride. The first file now shows as corrupt and wont upload, the second after the crash is fine - there is probably 1 - 1.5km gap between the two. I need the first file fixed and then joined to the second file if anyone can help?

    Also, schoolboy error - stopped on another ride for a coffee and decided to clean the edge screen, hit pause and must have touched the discard option as 65km of ride disappeared - is there any way of getting the data back, not sure if it goes into the memory or is deleted full stop?

    My Garmin turn off and file is broken.
