Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Could someone please help repair a corrupt FIT file. I recently ran my first 100 mile ultra and don't want to lose the data. You can download the file from the following link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3x576x. Thank you!

No GPS/map data in these files

Can you help me with these 2 files (bike and a run)? There is no map data for both, although they both do have elevation profiles and speeds/power that look generally correct (with some glitches maybe that are impacting the totals...like the first mile of the bike). As a result, some fields like total elevation on the bike ride looks really wrong (not 15k climbing, more like 6k or something). Anyway, I'm trying to recover the map data and fix the elevation issues if possible.

The first file (the bigger one) was a really important ride, so much appreciated if you can help!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Gary

    Hi.

I'm having trouble with a .fit file. when I look at the history directly on the watch (910) distance and time is correct (175km/4:57:00) but I am unable to upload to Garmin Connect or sporttracks. Strava accepts but only displays the first 157km.

I've tried using an online .fit repair site, but it still just shows 157km.

Of course this was a personal best activity...

Any suggestions as to what to do ?

    Thanks!

    Hi Steen,

your file ends after 154 km, only some bytes of corrupted data follow at that point. Sorry! You can download a repaired version of your file from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/91455145/20130824-090000-1-1328-ANTFS-4-0-fixed.fit.

Repaired with Fit File Repair Tool version 5.12. (http://fitfilerepairtool.info).

    Best regards

I checked your file with the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info) and don't think it is repairable. Sorry!
