Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Certovsky - there was a massive amount of corrupted GPS in your file, WAY too much for me to manually delete. I have exported your fixed file without the GPS data but the distance should now read correctly.

OperationOne - delete any previously uploaded versions of the file in GC and then try re-uploading the fixed file.

Hello, I am facing issues with corrupted file and am a measly linux user. Great kiwimtnbiker, can you or another helpful person please help restore this file? Garmin forum even says "Error uploading file" when attempting to upload here. But the file shows up in activities directory on the device and it shows up with ride summary in the device's history view. Please help if you can.

    Hi
Wonder if anyone can repair my .fit file. Did a ride today and the distance suddenly jumped to 4660 kms /1220 kph average(should be around 100kms) all the other data seems correct? Thanks in advance if it can be sorted.
