Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Jehosefat - I'm getting an error when I try to import the file into FFRT so I have asked the developer to take a look at it.

Will let you know how Mathias gets on when I hear back from him,

    cheers

    Thanks.

Yeah, I also get an "overflow" error but strangely if I close the program with the "keep data" option and reopen it, I can see all the laps etc. Just can't figure out how to fix it.

    Great, thanks so much.
  • Hi all, sorry if this is not the correct place to be but i'm new here and am just discovering my Fenix 5s+. yesterday i tried to change the sport during my activity to see how that would look like in GC and Strava. I started my commute home on bike (8,44KM) and when i was almost home pressed the back/lap buttom (i've set this up as change sport) to change bike to strength it didn't register any movement/reps and was active for 30 seconds. I than changed back to bike ride and walked in my backyard, after 20 seconds stopped and saved the activity.
I noticed it didn't upload as usual via GCM so on my desktop i've tried to sync but got an error in GC. I deleted the file from my fenix and uploaded it manually to Strava but the upload via the GC desktop version keeps failing. What could have gone wrong in this activity?
I've attached the .fit file if some one can take a look would be greatly appreciated!
