Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

Former Member, this should work for you - 2020-12-28-12-31-38-fixed.zip

Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import data page.

Hello guys,
Can someone please help with this corrupt fit file? i tried using the Corrupt Time Fixer on fitfiletools.com
I manage to upload the fixed file onto Strava and TrainingPeaks, but can't upload into Garmin Connect.

I've also tried using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/
It couldn't do any autofix.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

hi Wai,

Give this file a try - not sure what the fitfiletools(2).fit file is but I can't get it to load into FFRT.

My fiance and I decided to celebrate our 1yr with a ride together. I uploaded a course from Ride with GPS and we set off. All was good but when we arrived at our destination my 510 just turned off. When I got home I couldn't find the data from our ride and it wasn't until I tried to sync that I saw the error. Any ideas on how to fix this and more importantly to keep it from happening again? The course worked well but I'm not sure if there are some parameters in the course that I didn't set right (like name length of file or something) that caused the problem. ANY help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a ride we wanted to have a record of.....

I attached the corrupt fit file and the course tha I had saved in NewFiles on my Garmin

Give this file a try. And sorry no idea on what caused your device to just shut down...someone else might have an idea though.
