Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

Thanks for looking - what a shame... The Trail Run was a little run I did with my 7 year old daughter on the beach. The second was a very poor 5K I did this morning... (I'm out of fitness at the moment - just as well it's corrupt! Ha ha!)

I have three activities on the device at the moment - I'm fairly religious about removing the activity history after it's been uploaded to Garmin Connect. I don't like to have too much memory taken up on the device with old stuff. Of the three files, one I already uploaded to Garmin Connect last week (via the import facility because it wouldn't upload by Bluetooth). The other two (the two you've looked at) seem to have fallen victim of something dodgy!!

Any idea what might have caused the corruption? Any idea what I can do next to stop it happening again?

hi Andy,

The only two thing I can suggest are making sure you are running the latest firmware and / or to try a Master Reset. I know when my Edge 800 started playing up that doing a Master Reset soon sorted it out.

Hey everyone!
I did not finish my last activity and I gave my Garmin Edge 1030 to recharge. This probably caused an unexpected state and I cannot read the activity from the unit now.
Can anyone help me fix this, pls?

Hi Mike,

Wondering if you could help me out again. There seems to be some issue when my watch (935) downloads the heart rate for swims from my HRM-Tri for longer events. Before it downloaded from the HRM the activity loaded just fine. Once I've told it to download HR data and it's processed it the upload to Connect fails on my phone but works using Express on my computer but the device continues to fail to sync to my phone until I delete the activity.

Is there something wrong with this file?
