Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello - new to the forum - found it after experiencing a fit failure from my Garmin Edge 510. This is the second or third recent failure - I thought I had it fixed but I was apparently wrong. I tried a few other sites without success. Can anyone assist with repairing the file ? I plan to do a master reset in hopes of avoiding future problems. Thanks!

    hi Søren,

You had a reasonable amount of corrupted data between 5hr26min and 6hr13min of your ride.

    Give this file a try.

    cheers

    hi Shawn,

Your attached file comes up as an 'invalid file specifed' when I click to download it.

    Can you reattach it.

    cheers

Did my first marathon today but as I plugged in my Garmin Forerunner 10 to sync, the file became corrupted so now I can't upload it to Strava. Am absolutely devastated - does anyone know how to fix the file? It's a .FIT and the problem seems to be that the lap information has disappeared. I've googled a fix but the websites people were recommending weren't working for me, although it's possible I wasn't doing it right. Would massively appreciate it if someone out there was able to help! And to top it off, when I try to upload the file here it says it's "Invalid file data"...

    hi Shawn,

Unfortunately the file is 100% corrupted. There wasn't anything I was able to do with the data.

    cheers

    Hello Hector,
ZIP the file and try attaching it again.
