Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

    I was all proud of myself today after finding that I had a corrupt .fit file. I googled, searched message boards and forums (including this one), tried an online tool and then downloaded a repair tool. I thought "I can do this!" Umm, no I can't. One repair attempt said I rode .03 miles. The next said I rode 5,800 miles! The repair tool I used said there are 33 bytes of corrupt data that cannot be corrected.

    In reality, I had a 7 mile mountain bike ride in PA. Not long or anything extraordinary, but it's driving me nuts that I can't fix this!! Yesterday's ride seems to have loaded ok. I saw so many other threads about buggy fit files, it irks me that this happens so frequently, First time this has ever happened to me and I hope it's the last! At any rate, if there is a kind soul out there who enjoys fixing corruption, I'd be quite grateful. There was that ONE seemingly fast downhill... I'm really curious to see if it was just perceived speed or if I really WAS faster than last time! If only I could make my climbs faster. :rolleyes:

    The file only contains 0.05km worth of data - the rest just isn't there.

    For what it's worth - give this file a try.

    hi takakka,

    The file contained timestamps only - there was no GPS, HR, speed or cadence data in it.
