Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Thanks Mike! That works perfectly! What was the problem? Is it the HR monitor glitching?

Hello, can somebody have a look at these? They seem to have the error log in but not sure if any data is salvageable?

    Thanks

    hi drtraiger,

FFRT didn't pop up any warnings so it must have subtlety fixed something in the background as it was imported the file.

    cheers

    hi Ryan,

The hope file was 100% corrupt.

The other file was pretty messy and there wasn't a lot of data that made sense - give this file a try.

    cheers

    Hello,

I am posting in regards to a FIT file that seemed to of had some errors during a cycling activity, recorded with my Giant Neostrack device.

I've E-mailed Strava support and they said to me the FIT file I provided appears that the GPS device recorded some bad GPS data that appears to loop back on itself throughout the activity and ultimately adding to the total distance.

They aren't able to fix the activity, and I can't seem to find any websites online that are able to.

The Distance and time when uploaded to strava is 129.7 km and duration 3:48:41 which is incorrect.

The correct activity distance was 100.44 km in 2 hours 59 minutes.

I am wondering if anyone is able to help me fix this file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks so much!
