Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

    hi Joohansson,

Unfortunately both of those file are 100% corrupt - there is nothing I can do to recover your data.

    hi Anton,

I uploaded the file to my GC account and whilst I couldn't look at the details at GC.com, I could see them if I used GC mobile. So the issue isn't the fixed file, it's something with GC.com not displaying them correctly.

No - I don't remember cutting off the end of the file. I'll have another look and this update this post.

    cheers

When you get around to it, would you mind making two files - one normal, and another with removed Running Power CIQ? It might be triggering the known bug.

    Thanks a lot!

    Cheers,
    Anton

    hi Kris,

You had a small amount of corrupt data between 7hr03min and 7hr35min of your ride that hasn't been able to be fixed but the rest of the file looks fine.

    Give this file a try.

    cheers
    Mike

This is the first time I've ever had to deal with a file that I can't upload. Would be massively grateful if someone could take a look and get it working for me. I have no idea what the problem is other than the Garmin froze when I finished my ride.
