Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import data page.

still no luck

Thanks for doing that Mike, still no luck importing it to Garmin Connect. "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again."

Distance is tracked at 162km but the GPS shows only 27km

Hi all I just finished a 100 mile ride over the weekend and although Garmin shows the splits and all other data correctly, the GPS data stopped at 27km. Tried fixing it through the available online tools to no avail. Tried exporting the GPX through Garmin Connect and it shows an empty file. Anyone can help a guy out?

hi dibidi,

The majority of the GPS data just isn't there - it starts at 4min30 and then stops at 2hr32mins which co-incidences with what looks like a 1hr20min break.

Empty .fit file?

Hi guys,

I just came back from my evening bike ride. And Garmin Connect nor Strava let me upload my file, my .fit file seems to be empty / corrupt? The weird thing is, it does show my a summary on my Garmin 510 device. I've tried a couple of online tools to fix the file but no luck. I hope someone can help.

I just came back from my post office bike ride and I have some troubles with uploading my last activity. Garmin Connect nor Strava uploads my file, it indicates that the file is 'empty / corrupt'. I've tried a couple of online tools to repair but no luck, I hope someone can help me out.

Hi chinkone,

There is no data contained in that file at all - the Event Log does however say that there was a 'Stop Disable All' command sent to your unit 28secs after it was powered up as can be seen in this pic.

That's so weird, the device turned off by itself 5km before I got home and it didn't manage to keep the data. Thanks for figuring out Mike.

Brick activity corrupted

Hello,

Last weekend I performed a brick training using my Fenix 5, the activity is on the watch but do not download to GC. I have succeed though to download to strava and to training peaks. Any ideas?
