Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import data page.

Hello Willem,

That file is totally corrupt. Elev up to 41200ft. Distance 26477mi. Speeds up to 146mph. And there are no coords.

Sorry....the Tool cannot fix it.

Hi there, is anyone able to please assist me in repairing a fit file that Im unable to upload to G connect? the garmin 510 froze when I was attempting to save a ride therefore corrupting it im guessing?? It was my first ride up Mt Macedon Vic Australia :(

Hello Pepe,

At 21kms your 810 spiked a coordinate 120kms east then stopped recording data for 19 minutes then resumed recording. During that 19min you traveled 8kms and it will show up on the map and graphs as a straight line. I removed the bogus coordinate and all of the rest of the data seems okay.

So....here ya go. Fixed with the Fit File Repair Tool.

Thank you very much! I don't know the cause about my 810 stopped to record for 19 minutes but with your help at least I can recover the information of my training.

I hope this mistake in the record of my 810 doesn't repeat again.

Hello Fiona,

The data stops abruptly in Gisborne at 61kms which is about 16-17kms short of where you started..
There is no more data to fix.
The corruption deleted the calories so I add them using the generic 25cal per km.

Here ya go....fixed with the Fit File Repair Tool.
