Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

    @KEZIBOY:

I checked your file with the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info) and don't think it is repairable. Sorry!

    Mathias

Thanks Mathias for having a look for me, that's a shame I'll just need to run faster the next time so that isn't my fastest time of the year!:D

Here ya go. Fixed with the Fit File Repair Tool.
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ylge0fy3x75xo8p/20130908-115402-1-1328-ANTFS-4-0-fixed.fit

The distance is a little strange. At 33km the recorded distance is 9% less than the GPS distance. By the end of the ride the recorded distance is only 3% less than the GPS distance. Usually the percentage difference stays the same??

I'd love it if someone could fix this .fit file. The only site that will take it is Strava, but I can't get the HR/speed/cadence data out of Strava. Everything else tells me it's "corrupted". I have a Mac at home, so the FITFileRepairTool is a nogo there. I had trouble installing it on the ancient XP machine at the office, too.

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Broken FIT File

    Hello Experts,
I've got a corrupted FIT file MTB ride activity from my Garmin 500, first ride on my new bike. The activity was erased from the Garmin when I accidentally disconnected my Garmin from the computer before it had uploaded. I managed to recover the deleted file using a deleted file recovery tool.
I loaded it into the Fit Repair Tool (lite version) and it appears that a lot of the time stamps are wrong. Please let me know if this can be saved, thank you!

    Sorry,

Another totally scrambled file. Dates from 1992 to 2021. Altitudes from -208 ft to +38084 ft. Heart rates from 1 to 231. Temps from -199 to +179. No coordinates at all.

I did not attempt to fix this file.
