Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

    Same Boat - Fit File Help Request

    Got in a nice 200K on Sat but the fit file could not be loaded. Would really like to see the data. Would be great to get a little help.

    Completed Ironman South Africa this weekend just to return to data not uploading. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me repair the file. If anything, the cycling info is the most important. Thanks.

    Here ya go. Fixed with the Fit File Repair Tool including fixing the elevations because your 500 had you over 100 feet below sea level.

    I suppose I should look at the settings a bit but I don't mind riding below sea level, air's thicker and it's more challenging to breathe if you are in the ocean.

    EDIT: the elevation information on there is pretty far off as far as amount of climbing but it's better than not having anything to upload, it should be around 2050 feet of climbing. I'm not complaining, I appreciate the fix.

    Ya, gain calculations are notorious for being very inaccurate.
    If you loaded that file into Garmin Connect, click Enable and then Disable Elevation Corrections and watch the gain go from 2050 to 4400. WTF? :confused:
