Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

    I have tryid 2 times this yaer, that my activity wont sync with Garmin Connect.

    I have a Fenix 6 and HRM pro.

    Often i dont wear the watch, doing training. Normally HRM just download to the watch and then sync. with Garmin Connect.

    Watch and HRM is updatet.

    My puls in the activity, on the watch looks wired. I have tryid download HRM again, but with no succes

    Thx so much for your help :-)

    I tried download HRM data again, with your file.

    It worked. Only thing is that TE and BPM isn't updated.

    In BPM is shows the new right puls (max is about 158), but is write max is 127.

    I tried put in, the fixed file, but thats is the same. 

    Well is ok. I can see my bpm curve. The TE and my weekly training balast I most do without.

    I've just recently started using my new fenix 7x and the first weeks it was uploading my activities to the app without any prioblem, however starting with last week I can see the activities in the watch, however they do not appear on the app. I've been reading this thread and its still not clear - how to fix this and what to do? Could you please advise on this?Thanks!

  • Rare for a Fenix 7 fit file to be corrupt, but try a manual upload. That will at least let you see if the activity (FIT file) is corrupt. There could be other reasons (duplicate accounts in Garmin Connect, for example), but I would start here. 

    How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

    If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
  • OK i uploaded a bunch of activites and the few latest ones were shown as Import Complete and the other ones were Already Uploaded, does it mean that its more or less OK and I should just upload manually? 

    Is there a way to fix this long term?

  • For the activities that did not initially appear on Garmin Connect, what method were you using to upload and view? Make sure you are logging into the same account for Garmin Connect Web, Garmin Express, and the Garmin Connect App.

  • Hello, I just found this thread. I am tempted to buy a license but not sure how often I'll use it. Would someone be able to repair this file for me? @seilogramp maybe?

    I did a run today, downloaded the HR from the HRM-pro to fenix 6 pro and then phone started to sync, but it was about to die so I canceled it. Now the file is corrupt as described and the activity didn't make a copy. I tried running the tool but it said since it is a trial version a lot of dummy values were inserted. 

    I'm trying to figure out how to upload a file on here but it's not working. I'm on chrome, windows and ad blocker is off. Here is a link to the file on my google drive [deleted after OnlyTwo helped :) ]
