Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Former Member
Former Member

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

    hi Nick,

Answered in the other thread you posted in.

And please don't double post requests for files to be fixed. It makes it hard for those of us who volunteer our time to resolve the issues and there is nothing more frustrating than working on a file and then finding out it's posted else and someone has already sorted it out.

    cheers

Can someone help with these two files? The first file should be 120k, but shows up as 78k. The second file is 170k, but does not load at all.

    Thanks in advance.

    hi Mike,

The first file only contains 78km worth of data - FFRT reported that the recording ended abruptly which 'generally' means the recording hasn't been correctly stopped and saved - the Event Log also only contains a start event. File

The second file also has the same issue - recording ended abruptly - give this file a try, it should now load.

    cheers

    Mike,

Both rides are loaded now. Thanks. They show the full distance when I look at them in Activities on the watch. Is there any way to get the data from the watch. Could it be a problem of data transfer from the watch to the PC?

    Mike.

    Hey folks,

Could anyone help me with this file please? I'm reading it as an invalid on the watch.....

The data is for a cycle activity.

    Appreciate any help, thanks.
