Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

hi chrisallennc,

FFRT didn't find anything wrong with your file so I'm not sure why it won't upload via your phone. The only thing that I can suggest is to remove GC from your phone, restart your phone and then reinstall it and see if that improves the situation - I know for some people that it reinstalling GC has resolved their issues.

FFRT didn't report anything wrong with your file. I have corrected the elevation data so give this file a try.

hi Andy,

All repairs and changes such as elevation correction is done using the Fit File Repair Tool.

hello everyone,

Hoping someone could help. I had recorded data during my ride today, but i forgot to reset, before connecting to my laptop to upload the ride. There was no .fit file so I tried to use a data recovery software to see i can recover the missing .fit file. It seems like the .fit file got overwritten while getting upload. I've attached the image.

I still tried to recover the file and used http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ to repair the .fit file but it still doesn't work. Could someone help take a look to see if it can be repaired?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Need some love and help with a corrupted .fit file. Just did a seven day ride, (HUGE for me), and now one of of the files is corrupted. I'm on a Mac so I can't use the researched tools. Thanks, Mark

The first file is 100% corrupted and the second file is less than 2kb and doesn't contain a single data record.
