Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

    there is some data in your recovered fit file

    be it without definition headers

    could you provide me with a short fit file, newly made with the same activity and setup as the lost one

    That's awesome! That's pretty much the first half of my hike! (with gaps)

    I just recorded this new activity to provide you with a "healthy" file: A7K95809.FIT.zip

    If you feel like you like the challenge, I would really appreciate it... but seriously, you already did a lot! Thank you!

    hi,

    thank you for the healthy file

    went until the end of the recovery file and there was no additional data from the hike, sorry

    a lot of cut and past and some help from Fit File Repair Tool

    the previous posted test file is the best I can do

    Could someone help me with this corrupt .fit file?

    I tried to repair it but didn't succeed with it.

    The activities folder was empty when I tried to upload this file on the computer, and I discovered this file with a recovery software.

    The content of the .fit file:

    1500m swim - 40km bike ride - 10km run

    This is from an olympic triathlon event with transitions included.

    sorry for the delayed repair Slight smile

    your recovery fit file contained multiple parts with non activity data (care to tell which tool you used for recovery)

    • removed those parts and it looks like your activity fit file is complete recovered by your scan
    • only downloaded hr-data is not compleet

    Hi and super thank you!

    I used EasyUS Recovery for Macintosh.

    I still haven't found a good recovery tool for macintosh.

    Any ideas which tool should I use in the future?

    • you can keep using EasyUS Recovery
    • any other working tool would have delivered the same result, a non working fit file !
