Birds Eye View Badge

I’ve logged a few drone activities but have yet to be awarded the Birds Eye View badge. Can someone tell me why?

Did you enter the activity manually, or was it registered with a garmin device?

I just performed an experiment. I entered a manual activity and set its type to RC/Drone. No badge awarded. Then I took one of my activities that has been registered with a garmin device, and switched its type to RC/Drone. And I got the badge.

It was manually entered. Not sure what app to use on my Fenix 3 HR to log this but I’ll figure it out. Thanks for the response. Very helpful.

I presume any activity type will do, perhaps with GPS on. I'd use "Other" and then after uploading to garmin connect switch it to RC/Drone.

How do you switch the "type" to RC/DRone? there is no function for it!!

You can't switch it to RC drone as that is not a registered activity on garmin connect! nor can you get it in teh apps iq

Record ANY type of activity with your garmin device. It can be a run or just "other". Upload it to garmin connect. In garmin connect switch its type to "RC/Drone".

Oh yeah, I can. I can see it on the list of available activity types in garmin connect.
