Total Time in Heart Rate Zones by Week, Month, and Custom

Many training programs are built on time spent in different heart rate zones. It would be fantastic to be able to view the time spent in each heart rate zone for a given period of time (week, month). Even better if you could look at a custom timeframe to know how many more hours you had left in a zone for that week.

I am an endurance athlete that uses common training methods set out by Training for the New Alpinism, the bible of mountaineering training. I am sure that this is something MANY users would find useful.
  • Add me to the list of people who can't believe Garmin hasn't prioritized this feature. Some of these watches are priced fairly high; hard to believe we have to click through every activity and transpose Heart Rate Zone data to a spreadsheet. Is this 1995? Lame.

  • I’ve not used Garmin connect for years now. The lack of features like this, I don’t enjoy the UI, and I don’t trust the calculated metrics like VO2 max any more. I just use the watch to gather data , sync it to Runalize.com. Infinitely more useful and transparent explanations of how all the metrics are calculated.

  • Agreed about the Connect UI, meh. Good to know about Runalize. If I can sync the data to a better tracking tool. That would be perfect. 'll check it out. Thanks!
