Sick as a reason to pause a training plan

I’m following one of the new 5k training plans. I got sick (not injured) so I paused the plan.
when resuming the plan it ask why I paused the plan. I understand that this information might be important to learn if the plan for example is likely to cause injuries.

I think Sick should be an option as well (or that the last respons «I do not want to tell» is changed to «Something else or do not want to tell» ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1460489.png
  • Hello, I agree, it's so obvious that a child or other sickness would be the most common reason people would pause a program. I am seriously conflicted about how to deal with this question, particularly in the absence of a non-structured "other" category.

  • Yes, it is a pity one has to chose one of the existing categories, especially if there are not applicable.

  • The inflexibility in the training programmes was one of the reasons I switched to TrainerRoad. Would definitely recommend it! Sure, it lacks the social side of Zwift and all the racing but if you just want to get fast it's a good platform for it.
