Smart notifications keep re-enabling

Hi,
I have turned off all smart notifications other the garmin connect for my forerunner 235.
Garmin connect hasnow randomly started giving every app on my phone access to send notifications so the thing buzzing all day until i go back in and disable them all again.

Is there a setting i am messing up or is it a known problem?

I'm having the same problem. Garmin Connect 4.15.1, Android 9, Forerunner 645 Music. I find it very frustrating as I do want *some* notifications on the watch, so when they get re-enabled I have to go through my list of apps again and pick the ones I want.
