Info not updating on app

Hi - I've had my vivosmart 4 for 8 weeks now and today although the app is updating with my heart rate and steps the other features (ie stress and body battery) haven't since 8am. I've clicked the update in top right corner and it circles but no progress is shown on the circle with the green dot next to it. Sorry - not very tech savvy but is the problem with me or Garmin and what can I do to solve this?
