Activities not uploading to Garmin Connect

My Garmin 1000 is wifi enabled. I arrive home from a ride, switch my computer on and the ride usually uploads into Garmin Connect and shows up in Activities, but today it hasn't. I've clicked on "Upload New Rides" on the Garmin but still does not load into Activities in Garmin Connect. I have refreshed Garmin Connect several times and tried using both Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome.

    When you browse your recent activities on your Edge, do any of them fail to open? Or have weird stats like being really short?

    if you find an activity like that, make note of the date and time. Then plug your Edge into your PC using the USB cable. Navigate to the GARMIN/ACTIVITY folder and remove the broken activity (based on the date and time). You may wish to make a copy of it on your computer, in case you want to try repair it.
