Link activity to equipment

Is it possible to link an activity to equipment? Standard for my bike rides my MTB and chain are selected, but for my indoor rides (indoor ride on Garmin Fenix) it would be much easier if I could link my indoor bike for this! is this possible?

Also, is it possible to change the equipment for multiple activities at once?

    You can only link gear to the "top level" of an activity type - Running, Cycling, Hiking, Swimming, Walking and Other. Since Indoor Bike is a subtype of Cycling, it will get the same gear as Cycling when the activity is created.

    And using the standard Garmin Connect functionality you can only change gear if you are doing it for the individual activity. The exception is that when you add gear specifying that the first time you used it was in the past, Garmin will ask you if you wish to add that gear to all already existing activities of type [insert from list above] from that day on and forward.
