Garmin Connect vivosport Sleep Time changes

Former Member

Hey,
I am new to Garmin and got the vivosport yesterday. Last night I recorded my sleep time the first time. When I woke up I checked it and had around 20 mins deep sleep, 6h light sleep, 1,5hREM and 12 mins awake. When I opened the app two hours later the 20 minutes deep sleep suddenly were 5 minutes. Now while I'm writing this the times has changed to 0 minutes Deep Sleep this night. Why is it changing? Also my sleep time went from 7:59 (when I woke up) to 8:03, when I checked it later although I wasn't sleeping or napping either. Maybe you have an answer and can help me. How should I interpret this data?

Thanks and Greetings,
Tala
  • Sleep detection and analysis is done by Garmin Connect and not the watch. Garmin Connect sometimes reevaluates sleep data when more data becomes available. This is why you see it change after some time.
