Badge Criteria Corretion (Toasty/Frosty/Arctic Plunge/etc)

From my point of view, it's unfair to use the weather forecast as a criteria for badges when you have a watch that can record the current temperature.

The temperature in the weather forecast should only be considered in the absence of the temperature readings recorded by the watch itself (or tempe sensor); ie: as a last resource.
  • But for watch use the device temperature recorded is somewhere between body temperature and ambient.
  • What Trippy said.

The temperature reading from the watch is an absolutely unusable metric for weather conditions, unless the watch (or a connected Tempe sensor) is kept away from the body heat.

even though, seems better than the weather forecast .... that is not even a measurement (not debating the accuracy/relevance of weather forecast though)
  • Just got ripped off for Toasty - my weather station says 42.4 DegC, the weather bureau says 43.6 DegC, Tempe says 42 DegC, but because Garmin's service is totally crazy, my walk in 42 DegC is a walk in 31.1 DegC in "Garmin world".

  • Not using the watch makes sense (frosty would be very difficult to get), but my tempe says 38.7°C,  buienradar.nl says 38°C, no toasty badge.

I guess I need to burn more coal and ride more miles with my car to make temperatures go even higher...
