I can't imagine why garmin wants access to my contacts other than data mining. It says it is for smart notifications but I already get call notifications. I refused to allow them so now it keeps asking me. How do I make it stop?
Mine's doing the same thing. They call it an improvement. If you don't give them access to all of your contacts they turn off "Incident Detection' which is one of the main features I bought it. It wasn't a problem before this "upgrade". I was about to buy the 1030 but I won't be now. I can't believe they can disable part of MY unit.
