Exercise examples and descriptions

There are a lot of exercises to choose from in Garmin Connect but for many newbies it's overwhelming to try to choose the exercise you did or are trying to do without having a database of what the exercises actually look like and how they are supposed to be done.

Please make a way for the exercises to be searched by body part, by function, and show examples of what they look like.

Not having this as a feature in Garmin Connect is a huge turn-off for people just starting their fitness journey since they don't have a reference to go by without having to do a bunch of web searching.
  • I agree with you on this.

It's as though the Devs responsible for adding this feature just left it until the last minute of their deadline, then googled for a list of exercise names, before simply pasting them into the Connect website's backend database and saying job done!

It's pretty shoddy workmanship, and really needs a complete & thorough overhaul.
  • Hi,

I reply to this as it may re-actualizing it.

I face the same problem, which exercice name correspond to which real exercice.   I'm new with Garmin but not in sport, so I know many exercices but not sure which one correspond to the Garmin list.

As this topic is quite old, any news for this ?  Are the details available somewhere ?

    Regards from Switzerland
