Turn the Fitbit Import back on

About 2 weeks ago, Fitbit changed how their data could be exported and Garmin quickly switched off the import of .csv and .xls files that came from Fitbit. Fitbit have now restored the option to export their data in the same format as before (as well as providing a much rich set of data as an alternative). Could you turn back on the Fitbit import feature you had before? It would be really useful and should be a very quick change.

Longer term, it would be great if you also import the richer data (minute by minute heart rates / calories / distance) data that Fitbit now provide. I understand that it more of a task!

Many thanks

I'm moving from the FitBit ecosystem to the Garmin ecosystem and want to be able to bring my years+ of data with me. Trend analysis is really important to me. I guess I can use MyFitnessPal, but I really want Garmin Connect to be the one ring that rules them all. Please bring back the import from Fitbit if it's turned off!

Actually, I just, ahem, tried it and it seemed to work fine...
  • Many thanks for restoring the old functionality. This is now working and I think the thread can be closed. :)

The upload link is broken again - could someone from Garmin please look into this?
