Forerunner 35 stops syncing

I got my forerunner 35 for Christmas last year and it has been fine until a couple (?) months ago. I noticed it stopped sending my heart rate to Garmin connect. I checked my app and it still showed that it was connected and syncing would complete, but no data would be transferred over. I didn't run during the time it wasn't working, so not sure if my workouts would go, but I'm assuming not. The only way we could fix it was to completely reset the watch. ???? It has been working fine since then, but I noticed since having it off to charge for awhile on Sunday that it is doing the same thing again. When I check the heart rate on the watch and look at the last four hours, it is doing like it did before. Where there is only half the information there and it is from when it stopped working. I'm not sure if that makes any sense and I hope I explained it well and in the correct spot on the forum. Ha! I have not posted on forums before. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem? I don't want to be constantly resetting my watch.
